Things you should know.

Does it matter where I have my vehicle repaired?

Absolutely! Anyone who appraises vehicles for a living can tell you that the quality of collision repair varies dramatically and the quality of repair makes a big difference in the value of your vehicle. The quality of repair depends on several things:

(1) the skill and attention of the body tech and painter;
(2) the quality of the equipment and tools;
(3) the materials, paint and parts used; and
(4) the overall management of the process and quality control.

We have made a substantial investment in all areas of quality to ensure that the repair of your vehicle is the very best possible. Remember, if your vehicle is damaged, you have the right to choose where it is repaired. If you’re like most people, your vehicle is probably your second biggest investment, so make sure you choose a collision center with the very highest quality repairs.

Do you repair all vehicles?

Yes. We repair all makes and models.

My insurance company recommended another shop, can I still have my vehicle repaired by you?

Yes. Some insurance companies own collision repair shops or have an incentive to refer work to a specific shop. However, your vehicle is a large investment and you have a legal right to decide where it will be repaired after an accident.

What is a PRO Shop or a “Direct Repair Facility”?

Insurance companies will often establish a relationship with collision centers to streamline the repair process. We have such a relationship with several insurance companies. Essentially, it allows us to begin repairs on a vehicle without waiting for the insurance estimator to inspect the vehicle. In any event, you can decide where your vehicle is repaired whether or not the collision center is a direct repair facility.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes. We offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all of our repairs for as long as you own the vehicle.

Be Ready For Whatever Comes Your Way

You never know when an accident may happen, but you can be prepared by knowing what to do after it happens. Knowing answers to even the most obvious questions such as where to get your vehicle repaired can aid in this stressful time.

What To Do When Involved In An Accident

The first thing you should do is determine if anyone is seriously injured. If someone is hurt, call 971 immediately and wait for a paramedic to arrive. It may be a good idea to call the local police so there is an official report of the accident.

Who To Call When Your Car Is No Longer Operational

PCC associates are trained to handle not only your repairs, but also assist you with your paperwork, work with your insurance company and ensure you get the answers you need.

Know Where To Take Your Car For Repair

It’s helpful to know ahead of time where to take your vehicle for collision repair, and you have a choice when it comes to repairing your vehicle, regardless of where an insurance company recommends. We advise you to only take your vehicle to a Certified Collision Center, complete with state of the art equipment and expert technicians who are specialists. We ensure your vehicle will be returned to its pre-accident condition.

The ongoing pandemic has caused worldwide delays in shipping and parts availability. These delays have affected the entire automotive industry, particularly disrupting supply chains for all the auto manufactures. The auto repair and collision industry has not been spared from these disruptions, and as a result we are experiencing significant
delays in obtaining our orders in a timely fashion in some circumstances.

Because of the difficulty in obtaining parts and manufactures unwillingness to accept returns once we have placed an order, we currently do not pre order parts for vehicles. All parts will be ordered once the vehicle has been scheduled in and one of our qualified technicians has performed the initial inspection and tear down to determine if anything beyond the initial estimate will be required. Our goal is to return your vehicle to pre accident condition and Performance Collision is committed to providing high quality repairs and services. As a result, we strongly recommend only OEM parts when we are dealing with your insurance provider, and we are working tirelessly to resolve all shipping and procurement delays. We will do our best to provide you with possible alternatives when and if your insurance company estimates for aftermarket or used parts.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this time, and we will be happy to answer or address any of your questions or concerns you have during your repair process.

As our customer we work for you and not your insurance provider. We understand that you may not be familiar with the estimating process and may not understand what your policy covers. We are more than willing to negotiate with your insurance provider on your behalf, but we cannot force them to pay for damages if they deny coverage. Not all carriers are equal in the way they handle their claims.

We make every effort to get your damages paid for but sometimes an adjuster will refuse to pay for something that we have advised them needs to be repaired or replaced. In this situation we will do all that we can to keep you informed of their decision before moving forward with any required work. On rare occasions some insurance providers will take a hard stand and completely refuse to negotiate or accept our explanation of what needs repaired or replaced and they may require you to pay out of pocket for some of these expenses over and above policy deductibles.

Again, we will keep you advised if this situation ever presents itself, so you are aware of everything you are responsible for.

Once your repairs are completed, your file handler will perform a quality control check and complete all of your paperwork. You will then be called, and pickup arrangement will be made with you so that you can take delivery of your vehicle. All charges will be explained to you and payment in full is expected before the vehicle can be released. Thank you again for trusting us with your vehicle and we look forward to assisting you through this process.
